I am a writer and historian of art, film, and visual culture. Much of my research considers ethical and eco-political aspects of land and its aesthetic representation. I am currently a Lecturer at Goldsmiths, University of London. I earned my PhD at Harvard University in 2021. I am a BBC New Generation Thinker 2024. My first book, Land Cinema in an Age of Extraction, is forthcoming with the University of California Press. I am represented by Jessica Woollard at David Higham Associates.
